Yeah I thought the cuse stuff looked quite promising, but I'm not sure 
Lennart was wholey convinced at the time. His main gripe was permissions 
and working out who the user was that opened the device.

I think the discussions at the time reckoned it wouldn't be a problem, 
but I can't recall off hand.

It's certainly one to watch tho'.
