Depeding on time I may try and take a look at some point. I quite like
the idea of having a widget/screenlet (e.g. compiz+widget layer
plugin+screenlets) that allows me to drag/drop sound streams to devices.
This would save loading up pavucontrol to do it.

screenlets are python (I think) but there is nothing stopping a regular
app being a widget and depending on time and motivation I may not do
anything so if someone wants to implement please let me know when it's
working ;)
