spdif cannot do uncompressed PCM for more than two channels. Only
AC3-via-SPDIF can do 5.1. However, PA right now does not support
AC3-pass-through. You have to bypass PA for doing this for now.

surround51:0 should be opened exclusively with channels=6. Nothing
else makes any sense.
