To be fair, I'm not 100% sure I like it either, but I'm going with it 
for now in Mandriva 2009.1... There is also a slight problem if the 
stream disappears when you've still got the combo box opened which 
should really be fixed.

What I initially intended to do was put a link label (blue hypertext 
style) indicating the current device rather than a big combo box. When 
clicking on it, a menu would appear or something like that. That way it 
cuts down on the space used a bit (not by that much tho') and is still 
quite clear to the user what they can do... WDYT?
