[pulseaudio-discuss] PA crashes when moving sink-input to different remapped sink

Hello!

When I switch a sink-input (MPD) to a sink that has been remapped, PA 
crashes with the following error:

E: sink.c: Assertion '!s->thread_info.rewind_requested' failed at 
pulsecore/sink.c:640, function pa_sink_render(). Aborting.

I have three sound cards (integrated sound and two USB cards).  I have 
remapped them to name them zone1, zone2 and zone3.  I then start an MPD 
server and music plays.  I can switch them between the original three 
(non-remapped) sinks without error.  I can also switch them from the 
non-remapped sink and the remapped sink that corresponds to the same 
hardware (so index 0 <--> index 3, etc.).  However, if I go from (e.g.) 
the integrated sound and a *remapped* USB card, PA crashes.  In each case, 
it crashes in the same way.

I am running Ubuntu 9.04.  According to apt-get, I am running the latest 
version of PA.

The following log was created by starting pulseaudio manually with the 
command:

        pulseaudio -vvvvv 2>pa.log
