It might be an idea to apply this patch to your udev packages:

Allows users to plug in two identical USB sound cards that share the
same serial numbers. Unfortunately most USB cards actually have a
fixed (i.e. invalid) serial number, so this fixes a pretty common
case -- at least as long as you consider plugging in two usb cards a
common case ;-)
