Further to my previous mail, I should really give you a warning. If you 
are not used to building software (and from the question (or rather the 
answer) I'm guessing that you are not), then pulseaudio is really not a 
great place to start. It needs to be intergrated at the very lowest 
level of a linux system and requires the latest versions of various 
components (including udev and the kernel).

As youre a Fedora user, if you want a newer PA than the one available, 
why not install the latest Fedora 12 which is due to be released any day 
now?

I don't want to put you off, but I just want to make sure you know what 
you're in for!! :)
