Umpf. We don't touch that control. In fact I have never heard of it at
all.

What is very interesting is that this mixer control appears to
properly do multichannel audio. This is an exception, and even for
multichannel cards ALSA drivers tend to implement multiple seperate
stereo sliders for front, rear, surround and so on.
