Are you sure you have the alsa headers installed in the build
environment? If the environment is based on Debian, the header package
name is libasound2-dev, otherwise it's probably something else.

In addition to all those --disable-foo options you can also give
--enable-alsa, in which case configure will fail if you don't have the
alsa headers available. Note also that configure prints a summary of
enabled and disabled features to the end of the script output, which you
can use to check whether alsa is enabled or not.
