I compiled pulseaudio from git as of 01 May 2010 and still have the same problem:

udev-detect does not find any hardware
module-detect does find the hardware

I attached the output from "pulseaudio -vv" in both cases - any ideas?

BTW, and not connected I know, but I can play music via rhythmbox by using gstreamer-properties to change the source to pulseaudio, but if I try use pavucontrol, only the dummy source shows and sound output is muted unless I use gstreamer-properties to switch back to alsa as source.

Thanks for the help so far.

John
