You probably met the same issue that I did.
I sent a similar patch in a series last month, and that is waiting integration.
For the reference, the mail was sent on October 4 and the title is :
[PATCH v4 3/7] bluetooth: Release MediaEnpoint if card profile is set to Off

You might be interested by other patches in the series, feel free to
have a look.
I'd appreciate your input.
