LD_BIND_NOW=1 gdb src/.libs/pulseaudio is definately useful today, at
least for running pulseaudio from the build tree.
Arun had a better alternative though: libtool --mode=execute gdb
src/pulseaudio (running the script, not the binary in .libs)

I never did the handle part in gdb, so indeed, that probably isn't
necesarry anymore.
