Yes

I'm using the same config files and udev rules in both cases

Tinycorelinux:
3.x uses linux-2.6.33.3 and glibc-2.11.1 and the udev module works fine
4.x uses linux-3.0.3 and eglibc-2.13 the udev module does not find the hardware (alsa works OK)
In both cases the version of udev is the same.
It could be I need more recent 25-alsa.rules or 78-sound-card.rules, but I don't see anything obvious?
