Hi Sean,

first please CC me because I am not subscribed to the list.

Sorry again for not precise description of problem.
Problem appears when gnome3 auto_sleep_system , I have suspend turned off (I called it suspend but not really sure if this is suspend).
I tried reproduce this problem here with suspend (which I normally not use) , but I can't.
Maybe thread should be renamed.

Here is my lspci output on my desktop:

I tried many times when this occurs to start jackd and play sound through it.
It worked always. Because jackd connecting itself to ALSA it led me to think about pulseaudio problem.
I will test it your way too immediately it appears again.

I am running 3.2.0-2-rt-amd64 but tried also not_real_time kernel and issue appeared.
