What a noisy week. 

This week you saw the "on the fly latency" patch hit the master branch,
there were some bugs that were quickly fixed and the latency setting
should now work. 

For now only pacmd is able to work with the latency offset.
pactl and the protocol extension may need some work but it's also mostly
finished.

Furthermore the latency offset saving and restoring was also posted on
the mailing list. Its done in the card-restore module, it may need some 
cleanup and additional testing but it works for now.

With only 1.5 weeks before the mid-term evaluations the rest of the time
should be spent on testing and cleanup.
