Hello. Sorry but I have no idea whether or not this commit is in the
kernel I'm running. I'd be glad to answer the question if you tell me
how to do so. So far, this is all I know:

I never "plug the mic". This microphone is supposed to be internal, I
use it without connecting anything and with speakers on, e.g. when
Skyping my mom while juggling with eggs in the living room. Is it
contrary to what you're expecting?
