Hello,

this is an updated patch series (originally posted January 4) which addresses
(i) minor cleanup/fixes (patches 1 to 4, 6, 8, 9)
(ii) adds code for testing the remapper to cpu-test (patch 5)
(iii) changes sample conversion to/from float32 (patch 7)
(iv) improves s16<->s32 sample conversion in the remapper (patch 10)

two patches have received comments and are marked v2
