Yes, some kind of addition to UCM would likely be needed. I don't like
the idea of having PulseAudio specific stuff in UCM, I think we should
first propose a generic solution, and only if the alsa develpers are
against that for some strange reason, then we can add a PulseAudio
specific hack to UCM.
