Should the driver differentitate between notebook with dock headphone from
the following since in this case

notebook with dock headphone does not support surround40
Dock headphone share volume control with headphone

1) Dell XPS notebook with dual headphone jacks
2) Dell alienware notebook with headset jack and headphone jack?

the common things are speaker are unmuted when both headphone are unplugged
but dual headphone doesn't mute the other headphone
