I would expect this assumption to be false on the DTS encoder, but it
shouldn't matter anyway. PulseAudio will refill the buffer when the time
comes. I wonder whether the whole loop that increases j makes sense.
I will look more into this when I return from work. Right now I need to
think about our proprietary network-related code, not PulseAudio :)
