[pulseaudio-discuss] How to trouble shoot a Input Sink

Hi Team,

Are there anyway, we can trouble-shoot/debug an input sink in pulse audio, through any options with pactl ? 

Am maintaining a code, where in the null-sink is loaded and is used to play back a file with avplay, which is getting re-routed using pactl move-source to a monitor to create a virtual microphone, which becomes an input to a Google Hangout call.

I find that some times, the audio could not be heard by the receiver of this recording, when its played back via the hangout. Any troubleshooting tips from the learned gentlemen in this group will help.
