Well, since you did not reply to my mail, but to the digest, I cannot tell
if you used my wrong version or my corrected one. So until I know better, I
assume you used the wrong one. Sorry for the confusion.

Additionally you maybe need to install some ladspa package that brings the
plugins that I use here. On Ubuntu this is in a package named
"swh-plugins". Can't tell about Fedora tho.

Starting pulseaudio from command line with "pulseaudio -v" may also give a
hint on what's wrong.

Best would be if you compare my solution to the pulseaudio documentation to
understand what I am doing there, so you can better see what might be
missing.
