[pulseaudio-discuss] How to define a pulseaudio profile that ignores the “input” capabilities of a microphone

Sorry, I should have written "output" capabilities of a microphone.
Pulseaudio switches to the microphone as an output device when I plug it
in, which is not what I want. So I'm looking for ways to make pulse audio
use the microphone as an output device, but not as an input device.
