Hi Julian,

To debug pulseaudio please run: pulseaudio with -"vvvvv" parameter.

To debug bluetooth please run bluetooth daemon: bluetoothd with "-d -n".

Also you can get hci bluetooth logs with btmon. To get this data run simply with superuser btmon. This is useful to know what's happening "over air".

Best regards,
Grzegorz

2017-07-19 22:34 GMT+02:00 Julian Sikorski <belegdol@gmail.com>:

Hi list,

I have recently purchased a pair of bluetooth headphones. While A2DP
support seems to be working fine, HSP/HFP are not. In A2DP mode I can do
the speaker test in gnome-control-center without issues. On the other
hand, switching to HSP/HFP mode using pavucontrol results in no sound
being played and the bluetooth connection being dropped very quickly.
A quick google search reveals that this seems to have been an ongoing
issue until recently at least. Is it expected to work on pulseaudio 10?
If so, how can I try do debug it?

Best regards,
Julian
