I remember a month or two ago discussing having people volunteer to
maintain parts of the tree, and can find Roland's mail offering to do
that for the Xprint portions, but can't find the original e-mails or
anywhere that's listed who has signed up for what and which portions
still need help.

Are we doing this?  If so, shouldn't there be a page in the wiki about it?

If we are doing this, I volunteer to be the owner of the "Solaris platform"
portions of the tree (specifically xc/config/cf/sun.cf and
xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/os-support/sunos, plus random bits scattered
through the rest of the tree in #ifdefs & Imakefiles).
