Freetype, expat, zlib being taken from the system by default,
rather than from the tree.

Need to determine version dependencies.

Need to document png development dependency.

Keith sent egbert freetype patch.

Jim action item, to dig up nasty xlib bug and gets put into bugzilla.

What to do about mesa/dri staleness?  What is the state of
the DRI drivers?

Jim and Mike to try to figure out what is going on.

Mike argues pre-release needed. - agreed.
Drivers tend to be the biggest problem.
But we also have build dependencies that need to be checked,
and versions documented.

Need to run vsw5; testing.

Solaris sparc, solaris intel from Sun.

John, Silvio, can help on tinderclient.

Compiler cache is a win.
