I've got an account at pulver.com - but for some reason this doesn't work
for me any more. Either the provider is blocking it or something else is
going on. I don't have the time to investigate right now. Just as I find
it extremely hard to allocate a slot at a specific time of day on a specific
day.
I can watch an email thread and chime in quite well - however it is cumbersome
for me to schedule in another conference between all the other conferences
and appointments I already have to deal with.
Furthermore I cannot use SIP from my mobile phone nor can I use other
toll-free accesses to Sprint etc. Therefore these calls require me to be
near a land line phone.
As others may face similar problems I feel that conf calls for release
issues can effectively exclude participants.
I don't want to say we should never have them. However they should be limited
to situations where the matter really requires them.
Egbert.
