And I upgraded scim packages (scim-20040613cvs).

1) Get all *i586.rpm and *noarch.rpm
2) # urpmi *i586.rpm *noarch.rpm
3) remove ".scim" in your home dir
4) restart scim

/// set your locale to *.UTF8
export LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8

/// settings for scim-immodule
scim -f socket -c simple -ns socket -d &
export GTK_IM_MODULE=scim

/// settings for scim-xim
scim -f x11 -c simple -ns socket -d &
export XMODIFIERS=@xx=SCIM


$ gedit
Press Ctrl+space.

scim-xim and scim-immodule are working fine.

Hi,

James (the author of scim) made scim-uim.
We can use uim through scim.

You need new uim (uim-0.3.8-8ut) and scim-uim-0.0.1-1ut.
I uploaded them into http://sourceforge.net/projects/mdk-ut/ .
