I installed all the packages from Gentoo Portage, and so far, 
everything's working as expected. The bug which causes the 13 first 
factories in the second module to be disabled is still there, meaning 
that most UIM methods are skipped when one has scim-m17n installed, but 
as long as it's fixed before the official release of scim-uim and 
scim-m17n, noone's ever going to be affected by it.
