[SCIM] Left clicking on the scim icon in tray doesnt do anything.

Hi,
I'm on fedora core 3 and compiled scim-1.0.1 from
source, and also scim-chinese, but cant choose any
inputs.
It worked fine on fedora core 2 so im guessing it
could be todo with GTK versions maybe?
I have:  gtk - 2.4.13
             glibc - 2.3.3
             gcc - 3.4.2-6.fc3
I hope this is a known issue and can get it fixed
quickly,  SCIM is the best out there, i NEED it! :(
