[SCIM] Chinese Input with scim under mozilla not possible

Hi!

I have newly installed scim.0.9.6-2. Under Konsole or kate there are many
input methods. I enjoy and appreciate the scim really a lot. But the
searching with ctrl-f under mozilla (1.6.1) navigator or inputting under
mozilla composer is impossible, there is nothing else but "English En" with
ctrl-space. 

What is wrong with me?

The system is SuSE 9.0.
