I am aware of the modified Cangjie table (I think seen on scim mailing
list) and the Quick table (seen on Planet Debian HK). However I don't
know how to use any of these input methods myself, and since I can't do
much testing I was reluctant to package them as patches.

I would like to incorporate these changes in Debian packages as long as
I can find some one help testing the packages.

One comment: You said in another mail that these two tables are already
updated in scim-tables, do you mean scim-tables 0.5.0? Since James
claim scim 1.1.x as unstable branch, I don't think they are appropriate
for Debian yet. If necessary, I can consider backporting these to 0.4.0
branch (which depends on scim 1.0.x, currently in Debian unstable). But
it would be nice if there is also a scim-tables release for stable
branch.
