The bug still exists. There is a difference between linux a windows driver
behavior - linux will not allow you to go to higher resolution if there is not
enough memory (it will not change the resolution). Windows will switch to the
highest possible resolution, even if it does not respect the aspect ratio ->
causing "black bars".
