            Bug ID: 101752
Summary: Notification in host OS when something in guest OS
                    needs attention
           Product: Spice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: protocol
          Assignee: spice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: abdulmoeedammar at gmail.com

It will be very nice, if there is some way to get notifications from guest OS
to host OS.

For example, if I am running windows as guest and a program there needs
attention (it's window is flashing 'FlashWindow'). But if currently I am in
host OS I will not know about it until I switch to the guest.

In such scenarios, it will be nice to have a notification in host OS. The
notification can contain the details about what happened in guest to cause this
notification, but even simple message that, 'there is something that needs your
attention in guest', will be enough.

Regarding what events in guest OS should be notified in host OS, it will depend
upon the guest OS. But mostly they should include standard desktop
notifications in guest OS, and FlashWindow in case of Windows.
