virt-manager --debug really says nothing ? In my case is very verbose. For us
the interesting info starts when you open the console (click on a vm to open
its window) - in my case the first log is:
(console:718) Starting connect process for proto=spice trans=
connhost=127.0.0.1 ..
It would be easier if it was reproducible using virt-viewer, you can try
following commands
virt-viewer --attach -c qemu:///system WINDOWS_VM
virt-viewer --direct -c qemu:///system WINDOWS_VM
