Hi Alon,

Thanks for the link. Sorry for my delayed response.

>Alon Levy >>>
I'd appreciate any feedback about this page since you already gone
through the moves, if you see anything missing / wrong. What linux are
you running? what version of spice did you install?
<Alon Levy<<<<<<
Fedora core 12 linux is running on my PC.

As a First step, I installed SPICE RPMs (qemu-spice & spice-client) using yum.
Pretty easy way to kick off !!!!.. I think, These RPM packages for SPICE-0.4 release. Am I right ?.
It is working with Prebuilt- windows SPICE Client.

As a second step, I uninstalled the above RPMS and downloaded
SPICE and its depend source packages using git as described in the page that you have mentioned.
The page is quite OK to compile the server and client (for Linux environment).

Missing points :
 1. log4cpp package compilation is missed (User Manual includes this package)
 2. After configuring and compiling qemu module, binary were not installed
under $INST_ROOT. If Am right, the reason is to access bios files, which are
 kept under pc-bios folder..
I prefer to install these binaries and bios files also under $INST_ROOT folder
 and use it .

Please feel free to correct if anything is wrong !!!

Thanks
Alex.

If would be great if you guys update setup manual with latest info. Thanks for the feedback. Totally agree about the docs, it's on the todo list.
