We probably want this for spice 0.4 too.

What is the plan to handle 0.4 / 0.6 spice in the guest drivers btw? 
Have one driver which handles both?  Just keep the old bits around? 
When choosing the latter we should better rename the driver binary so 
old and new qxl drivers can be parallel-installed ...
