Hi Gerd,

What is the current situation with accessing a Microphone in a VM from a Spice client? Is this likely to work any time soon within a Win 7 VM under KVM or are there still libvirt & kvm changes to be made before this works.

Thanks,
  Nick

Patch is upstream meanwhile and will be present in qemu 1.1

libvirt still needs to learn about it though: it must to pass '-device
hda-micro' instead of '-device hda-duplex' to enable the audio codec
with the microphone.
