You need to define the USB redirection for the VM - virt-manager should
be already capable of it, if not, follow Hans's instructions for
libvirt:

or plain qemu:
http://hansdegoede.livejournal.com/11686.html

according to what you actually use. In both these cases, read carefully,
there's quite a big chance to make some error when defining the devices
manually.
