The upstream virtio drivers support Windows 8 (so I assume 8.1 would be
fine as well), but the nsis version in fedora (which is used to build the
installer) is missing support for detecting Windows 8. When I tried to
workaround this, it did not go well ;)
The QXL driver has no Windows 8 version.
