I'm thinking 'auto', instead of any, which would just go through the
list of supported codecs, in a hard codec preference order, and test
them.  If supported, the'd be added to the list.  Same for the server side.

Would it be acceptable if that was a future feature, though?  This patch
set seems nicely atomic, and, at this point, you would want the default
to remain mjpeg4.
