But those were not regressions, so I think it's fine to keep fixing after the release and backport eventually important fixes.

However, we can't easily backport all the fixes in git to 0.31, due to large changes and API/ABI break.

Is there anything else to add regarding gstreamer support? I haven't looked in details recently.
