To get back to your remark, G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all will not enable GSpice log (and will not enable all categories in my RFC). I agree with you it would be simpler and convenient to have G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all do that, and it shouldn't be difficult or controversial to change that behaviour.
