Best source of documentation is the code base and how they work
together. Beside spice-protocol header, you need to look at
spice-common/spice1.proto file to get to know how the messages
look like, etc. Wireshark is your friend too :)
Any reason why to write a new client from scratch? spice-gtk
codebase has spice-client-glib and spice-client-gtk3 libraries
which is being used by virt-viewer for instance.
If you goal is a web browser, there is spice-html5 client which
would welcome any contributor too ;)
