The code is good, the message not.

Different details was discussed on ML but none reported, people
should not look at ML to understand code.

- read_all is similar to write_all but this is not described;
- you added a loop to support partial reads;
- you added EINTR handling;
- you throw exception while reading as mostly calls to that.
There are no explanation of the reasons to do so beside code
reuse.
