I think the problem is more of the nature that reds.c contains all
sorts of unrelated code that really should be split into separate
modules.
I'm strongly against naming the function {on,handle}_something if it's
actually not on/handling anything, but in fact sending something. That
just adds to the confusion.
I can add the _to_agent suffix though.
