When we open the client it works well, but then it stops randomly; sometimes in a few seconds, sometimes it lasts more than a minute or two. Trying to figure out what's happening I found that marking all blocks as keyframes (<big><tt>this.simple_block(data, true);</tt></big> on playback.js line 132) the sound is much more stable. The sound works well on spicy and other native clients, we have tested the spice-html5 client on chrome and firefox on linux and windows with the same results.
