That monster bug is probably a good candidate for closing.  It's better
to report specific issues, like the need to communicate missing plugins
to the user.  And the specific bugs involving only swfdec should
probably be reported upstream (i.e. to the freedesktop bugzilla, not
redhat bugzilla).

I think yes, unless you find a similar bug.

You can run "firefox -g" and then start it with "r" from the debugger.
This way, you'll see the error messages from swfdec.

By the way, I don't see any freezing with the git version of swfdec.
