Can you get a backtrace for that crash? This should work with:
$> cd test/trace
$> gdb .libs/lt-swfdec-test
(gdb) r crash-0.7.1-uncompressed-half-samples-5.swf
# wait until it crashes
(gdb) bt

And please make sure you build swfdec with debugging symbols.

As a side note: This doesn't happen for me, and I'm on x86, too.
