Yes, thank you for this.

In looking at the bugzilla report/webpage, is there a way of ascertaining 
the status/activity of this bug? (since resolution of this is material 
for me).

Also, (and perhaps this should be another thread), are there usage 
statistics for
syncevolution?
syncevolution + memotoo?
syncevolution + memotoo + fedora?

If there is a wide installed base, I would think I wouldn't be the only 
one experiencing this issue.
